One of Walmart’s highest cost for Advertisement in Puerto Rico is printed material, but it is very effective locally. For the Walmart Puerto Rico’s website, we updated the publications section, where every printed publication could be shown digitally. Based on Walmart.com’s Weekly Ad section, we created a platform where users can still find their publications in a familiar format, and enjoy the benefits of a digital publication. Meanwhile the client saves printing budget and receives quantifiable results.

Pagination was meant to be intuitive. To change pages in the publication the user can swipe or use the scroll bar above. There is also a thumbnail bar at the bottom so the user can preview the next pages. The total of pages can be seen in the scrollbar.

Product Mapping and Details

When the user clicks a product, a modal window is displayed with the product details, including price, savings, and picture. The platform allows the possibility to include various product shots or color variations. The users can also add the product to their personal favorites.

Extra digital content

A bonus advantage is that the digital publications include extra content like how-to videos and recipes using the products publicized.

Shareable content

Users have options to share any specific product, or the complete publication. They are shareable on Twitter, Facebook, Email or Whatsapp.
